Four years ago we presented our 1st customized Leadership Development Workshop for Indiana Apartment Association.  Since then, 58 women have participated in the SAL Leadership Conference for women.  In 2010, a 1 1/2 day Alumni workshop was added to continue developing the leadership skills of past SAL graduates and 29 women participated.

The SAL program was recognized and honored by the Indiana Society of Association Executives with the Star Award for Outstanding Individual Program.  The SAL Conference for Women was named after Sally Lentz-Crouse who was a leader in the multifamily housing industry and a pioneer for all women in the real estate industry. To keep Sally's legacy alive, the Indiana Apartment Association began what is now an annual Leadership Training Conference focusing on L-E-A-D for future women industry leaders.

We are extremely proud of the SAL Program, what it represents and this recognition from an organization outside of IAA's industry validates it further.  Mary Ellen Perin, Mollie Wood and the planning committee of the SAL program continue to carry the torch lit by Sally Lentz in order to grow the leadership skills of women.
